I'm not personally big on getting kanji tattoos, but to each his/her own. Its read "aijou" in Japanese. If its got personal sentiment then all the power to ya...at least its well done.

I enjoy the detail and the simplicity (yet at the same time intricacies) of color contrast. The red maple goes great with the gold and black. Props on picking art over a half assed tattoo.

The eight-ball is actually the artist, whose name is Eight, signing the tat. This a tradition of Japanese tattoo art, much like any other artist signing his piece. Thanks for the comment.
