not blown out just a real shitty liner needle shade done on the inside of the actual lines. could be where the squiggled some lines and had to try and save it. still looks stupid and shows just how smart he really is. |

also, when you do get that apprenticeship your looking for. remember that whatever they teach you, you will always pick-up different ways to better yourself. and dont be afraid to jump in the water and try new tecniques. fuck up but know how to fix it! |

show the artists some incentive and ask how much the apprenticeship will cost and for how long it is. save the money and do it. you obviously are on the right track. just dont start scratching on people. thats what the apprenticeship is for. |

glad to see you call it a "machine" and not a "gun" that the first step, now go to as many tattoo shops in the area and take a portfolio of drawings and sketchings.make sure it is in a good presentable folder. |

your line work on skin would be blown out..too heavy, your black shade looks swirly and not smooth. your color work is ok but your blending, well you dont know that either. |

your artist did a great job on this. the only thing i would suggest is that the roses need to be shaded with a little darker wash...in due time the light shade he did will be gone and it will look like a bunch of linework. |

good color work. a better more clear pic that is taken straight on would be nice. use a good digital camera with the right settings for close up detailed pics would be great. |

could you not get the celtic design straight? obviously not. your shade work is choppy and stringy. not what would be expected in a grey wash piece like this. |
