What are these illustrated exhibitionists thinking? Lena Dunham’s body is a human canvas, scrawled with seven big and small tattoos, making her resemble a zaftig prison inmate. With an estimated... |

It makes me wonder what the point is of getting an actual word in a living language tattooed on your body if you're not going to make it readable or correct. And again, they are "characters" not "symbols." |

What you have appears to be "love" (http://www.luckyicons.com/images/kanji_love.png). The single character for "karma" in Chinese and Japanese is this: http://www.stockkanji.com/images/words/Religious/B 2413VD1AS.gif |

Finally, someone who actually did what I always recommend: have someone capable write your chosen kanji out for you before you get them tattooed. The results speak for themselves. |

What's with the extra-thick lines on the 2nd and 3rd kanji? And why aren't the top 2 centred over the main part of the design? |

Not my thing at all, but quite cool. And the Chinese character is actually well done for a change. |

I had to really search to find the Chinese character (not "symbol") in there. I finally did, and it's not quite right. Probably oesn't matter since it just looks like a weird abstract design anyway. |

The kanji are actually quite nicely done. I would have gone for a more calligraphic script, personally (especially since it's a name), but they're a thousand times better than most kanji tattoos. |

Scott, are you trying to tell me that a Japanese person, a native speaker of Japanese, did this tattoo? If so, he's either very new to tattooing or having a laugh. As for your tattoo, why not comment on that page? |

All I can say is never choose kanji from flash sheets. |

Well... To begin with it's not Chinese, it's Japanese. |

I'd recommend NOT going back to the same place. The kanji is wrong (although recognizable) and the tattoo work doesn't look that great either. |
