I got this tattoo at Sin on Skin in Pearland, TX. It is an Egyptian scarab beetle with wings holding shen rings with the Eye of Horus in a sun. It is my second tattoo the Southern Cross stars are from a previous one. I like egyptian mythology. Try google Egyptian Scarab Beetle or Eye of Horus for more of the stories behind the piece.
