I got this tattoo for my father and sister who each passed away within the last two years. Each wing represents one of them and the single white rose represents the life that lives on in their memory. The word "Selah" is derived from the Bible. My father used to always use this term when a situation could not be understood or should simply be excepted. It has multiple meanings from "Amen.", "It is so.", and "Let it be."
Thank you. The tattoo below is a tribal. It was my first tattoo and though I do like the design, I will be getting the color covered in black next week. I expect that will work together with my other designs better.
Sorry for your loss. The wings look to have exceptional detail and I do like the concept of the wings and the single rose...very meaningful. What is the tat below?
